CONDITIONS OF SALE
All products and services supplied by Abbey Pallets must be paid for in full before delivery, unless otherwise agreed to or a pre-approved credit account is required. All online orders must be paid for in full before any orders can proceed to checkout and subsequent delivery.
Second hand pallets – Supplied by Abbey Pallets
Second hand premium grade pallets supplied by Abbey Pallets are supplied as a reconditioned/ refurbished pallet.
All broken boards and/or bearers are removed and replaced with an equivalent grade of material to keep the pallet to its original specifications.
Due to the nature of the variety and unknown structural qualities of this product, Abbey Pallets is unable to specify weight load ratings for any of its second-hand pallets.
As a pallet retailer we do sell pallets that have recommended weight ratings and these are the responsibility of the purchaser.
This recommendation is strictly a guide for the consumer to identify the product that may suit their requirements. Abbey Pallets does not take responsibility for any damages caused through consumer negligence.
All information relating to the handling and weight loading of products onto second hand pallets falls entirely onto the customer to satisfy their own individual requirements which can be found in the Australian Standards for pallet manufacturing.
All online orders that are approved will be delivered to the address provided within 2 working days from date of order. An email or telephone advice will be sent to confirm a delivery date and time.

BY PLACING AN ONLINE ORDER WITH Abbey Pallets YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:
- All deliveries – you must provide either an authorised forklift and operator to unload pallets from our delivery vehicle OR
- Provide labour to hand unload pallets from our delivery vehicle.
Due to occupational health and safety we are required to enforce these delivery requirements.
If free delivery has been approved for an online order, please use your COUPON that has been provided to you. It can be entered into the shopping cart check out section which will automatically deduct the shipping on your order.
CUSTOMER PICK UP (LOCAL PICK UP )
All orders placed online that have selected LOCAL PICK UP ( Customer to collect from ABBEY PALLETS ) will be available for collection within 3 working days of the confirmation of order. An email or telephone notification will be sent to advise when the order will be available for collection.
All account payments must strictly be paid on or before 7, 14 or 30 days from date of delivery depending on the trading account issued by ABBEY PALLETS. If a 30 day end of month account is issued all payment must be received on or before the 25th day of each month for all purchases in the previous month. If the 25th day falls on a non business day then payments must be made prior to the 25th day of that month.
Accounts in excess of our trading terms will automatically be placed on stop supply. The purchaser agrees to pay all costs including legal costs on a solicitor/client basis. The purchaser further agrees to pay interest on outstanding accounts at the rate which is 2% pa above the rate charged by Westpac for business overdrafts. ABBEY PALLETS reserves the right to commence interest charges from the 26th of the month onwards for all 30 day end of month trading accounts with overdue balances and until full payment of the account is made.
TITLE OF GOODS
The purchaser agrees that ABBEY PALLETS will retain ownership of the goods until full payment has been made in full, notwithstanding any “on sale” by the purchaser. The purchaser acknowledges that ABBEY PALLETS, its servants or agents shall not be liable in trespass in entering any property to retrieve the goods.
ABBEY PALLETS will exchange items that are deemed to have manufacturing faults or classified as a warranty claim. Exchange goods will be available for collection within one business day after any returned good have been authorised by ABBEY PALLETS to be deemed an exchange item.
ABBEY PALLETS will not be recognised any exchange items unless made in writing to ABBEY PALLETS within 5 working days of delivery.
ABBEY PALLETS is not responsible for any shipping costs associated with any returned items
ABBEY PALLETS does not refund any monies from the purchase of goods. Items can be exchanged if they are deemed to have a manufacturing fault or are eligible as a warranty claim.
CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS TO ABBEY PALLETS
All payments made to ABBEY PALLETS by way of credit cards, will incur an additional 1.5% surcharge in addition to the sale amount. All EFTPOS transactions will incur a 1.5% surcharge in addition to the sale amount unless waived by ABBEY PALLETS management.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
ABBEY PALLETS will not be liable for any loss or damages suffered (whether direct, indirect or consequential) arising in any way out of any supply and delivery of goods.
